The ZF 8HP is an 8-speed Hydraulic system Planetary gear automatic transmission. The ZF8HP was first introduced in 2009 and is a popular choice among car enthusiasts for its smooth and responsive shifting, excellent fuel efficiency, and reliable performance capabilities.


The MEVD17 is an engine control unit (ECU), also known as DME/ECM/DDE. It is responsible for controlling the fuel injection, turbocharging, and other engine management functions. In order to tune the BMW X6 M, it is necessary to modify the MEVD17 map, through ECU programming, remapping or through the use of an aftermarket tuning box.
